Jones Day has announced that four lawyers from Baker & McKenzie's China division will join the firm's intellectual property practice in Hong Kong.

Peggy Cheung, Anita Leung and Chiang Ling Li will join as partners and Helen Tang will join as of counsel over the next few months, the firm said.

Cheung and Li have been in Baker & McKenzie's Hong Kong office since 1994, Leung has been there since 1987 and Tang since 1999.

More than 20 of Jones Day's 265 intellectual property and patent lawyers are based in Greater China, including offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Taipei. The firm has more than 2,200 lawyers in 30 worldwide locations.
