N.J. Justice Charged With Misusing Office to Help Out Bullied Son

New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Roberto Rivera-Soto has been charged with abusing his position to influence police actions and court proceedings over the alleged bullying of his teenage son by a high school football teammate. Rivera-Soto allegedly threatened to go to state police and file a criminal complaint against his son's vice principal and coaches, called a police chief on the chief's cell phone about pressing charges against the teammate, and contacted a prosecutor and judges about the complaint.
