A California court has revived an attempt to hold Christensen, Glaser, Fink, Jacobs, Weil & Shapiro liable for the removal of 12 cash-stuffed duffel bags from a Palm Springs condo 10 years ago. The suit by a receiver for PCO Inc. contends that name partner Robert Shapiro helped PCO's former president David Laing arrange to have as much $6 million in cash removed from his home so he could post bail and pay Shapiro's fees. The cash grab was allegedly designed to beat a judge's order freezing Laing's assets.
