The U.S. Senate confirmed Judge Kent A. Jordan to the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday. Jordan, formerly a judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, was nominated in June to replace Judge Jane R. Roth, who took senior status on the appellate court effective May 31. Both Roth and Jordan are Republicans.
