YouTube struck separate agreements Monday with several content providers as the video-sharing Web site races to befriend content providers and avoid copyright infringement lawsuits. Music labels Universal Music Group and Sony BMG will make video content available on YouTube, and CBS will provide short-form video content for a CBS "brand channel" starting this month. Both CBS and Universal Music Group will test new technology that will help them find copyrighted content on YouTube and remove it.
