HP has hired Morgan, Lewis & Bockius to help it address criminal investigations into whether its board broke the law while investigating a leak. On Monday, Morgan Lewis attorneys sat down with federal prosecutors; meanwhile, on Tuesday California Attorney General Bill Lockyer stated that his office had sufficient evidence to indict people both within and outside of HP. The fast-multiplying probes have Silicon Valley lawyers abuzz with the possibility that attorneys at HP or Wilson Sonsini could be ensnared.
