Lawyers say corporate America is having a panic attack over an upcoming rule that will require federal contractors to keep better track of whom they hire over the Internet. On Feb. 6, all federal contractors must have in place new protocols that will tell the government exactly what Internet resumes they reviewed, and the race and gender of qualified applicants. Employment attorneys argue that the new requirements create a record-keeping nightmare for companies.
