DOJ's New Reach in Terror Cases

The case of Sami Omar Al-Hussayen, charged with supporting terror groups by maintaining radical Islamic Web sites, is one of the first terrorism trials to emerge since the demolition of the infamous "wall" that kept intelligence information out of law enforcement's hands. This case and others built on evidence obtained under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act will test courts' ability to balance due process rights against national security interests.
