Judge: Class Action Prince Was Really a Frog

In the latest twist to a case that the 9th Circuit used to bar lead counsel auctions, federal Judge Vaughn Walker compared a Milberg Weiss Bershad Hynes & Lerach client to a fairy-tale frog and ripped into the law firm for walking away from a case that ended one of his securities litigation experiments. Walker further suggested the firm's trip to the 9th Circuit was motivated by something "other than vindicating the interests of defrauded investors."
