On Friday, former Credit Suisse First Boston GC David M. Brodsky testified at Frank Quattrone's trial for obstruction of justice and witness tampering. Brodsky said that as the investigation into IPO allocations by CSFB mushroomed in late 2000, he told Quattrone to get his own lawyer since the bank's lawyers could not represent him. Prosecutors claim that hours later, Quattrone sent an e-mail essentially ordering employees to destroy documents.
