Although the Association of Trial Lawyers of America has long had a chummy relationship with Democrats, the group's recent convention showed that the GOP is also finding an audience among ATLA members. The chairman of the group's Republican trial lawyers caucus points out that between 25 percent and 35 percent of members are registered Republicans -- and predicts that his caucus will soon have chairpersons from all 50 states.
