Stability is the theme of the Minority Law Journal's third annual Diversity Scorecard -- a survey of minority hiring at the nation's largest law firms. Attorneys of color still make up about 4 percent of partners and 13 percent of associates at the 215 responding firms. But globalization raises new issues. For instance, should a firm include foreign nationals in its count of minority attorneys, or just minority U.S. citizens?
