Clyde & Co has added an employment partner to its Shanghai office.

Iris Duchetsmann was previously a Shanghai partner with Eversheds. She focuses on cross-border employment and international human resources management, including residency, tax and social security matters.

Before joining Eversheds at the beginning of last year, Duchetsmann was of counsel with the former Salans, which merged with the firm now known as Dentons last March. Prior to that, she worked at German law firm Beiten Burkhardt and for Siemens AG, where she was a Munich-based in-house lawyer.

Clyde’s Shanghai office currently has 25 lawyers. The London-based firm has over 1,400 lawyers in 35 offices globally.
