Singapore law firm Stamford Law Corp. has hired a new partner for its corporate practice.
Lim Sin Teck, previously a counsel in the Singapore office of White & Case, advises on debt and equity capital market deals. He also acts on debt restructurings and liability management matters.
In March, he was part of a White & Case team that advised Thai conglomerate BTS Group Holdings Pcl. on a $2 billion initial public offering on the Stock Exchange of Thailand for a new infrastructure fund.
Lim joined White & Case as an associate in 1999 and was made counsel in 2010.
Stamford’s hiring of Lim follows the firm’s announcement earlier this week that it had brought aboard new corporate partner Daniel Yong from Norton Rose’s Singapore office.
With the addition of Lim, Stamford has 69 lawyers, including 17 directors and two counsel.
