KENT MAGILL, former executive vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary of Hostess Brands Inc., joined Stinson Morrison Hecker as of counsel in the Kansas City, Missouri, office.

HENRY HORBACZEWSKI, former senior vice president and GC of Reed Elsevier Group Inc., joined Morgan, Lewis & Bockius as senior counsel in the Boston office.

STEVEN SCHEINMAN, former EVP, GC, and chief compliance officer of Louis Dreyfus Highbridge Energy LLC, joined Sutherland Asbill & Brennan as a partner in New York.

Ballard Spahr announced that JOSEPH LA BARGE, former GC and chief ­compliance officer at ­Tengion Inc., rejoined the firm as of counsel in Philadelphia. Also joining Ballard Spahr, as of counsel in Phoenix and Washington, D.C., is Stanley Mabbitt, former associate GC with Bank of America Corporation and Countrywide Home Loans Inc.

MARK PROCTOR, a former vice president and asso­ciate GC to the Private Equity Group, the Global Portfolio Solutions Group, and the Real Estate Investment Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co., joined Vinson & Elkins as a partner in New York.

ROGER CRAIG, former senior vice president and GC at Nationwide Financial Services Inc., joined Dinsmore & Shohl as a partner in the firm's Columbus office. Also joining the firm, as a partner in D.C., is REED RUBINSTEIN, former senior counsel at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Weinberg, Wheeler, Hudgins, Gunn & Dial announced that JASON POULOS, former chief counsel–compliance, investigations, and security for Georgia-Pacific LLC, is now of counsel with the firm in Atlanta.

SNR Denton announced that Lisa Ledbetter, former VP and deputy GC of the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, joined the firm as a partner in D.C.

LEN SUCHYTA, formerly the top IP lawyer at Verizon Communications Inc., joined Hunton & Williams as counsel in D.C.

Nixon Peabody announced that VINCENT NAPOLEON, former president and CEO of Eagle Consulting Services, joined the firm as counsel in D.C.

KEITH ROSEN rejoined Chadbourne & Parke's D.C. office as counsel. He had been chief of the criminal division in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Delaware.

Woodcock Washburn announced that MICHAEL KLINE, former senior patent counsel at The Coca-Cola Company, joined the firm as a partner in Atlanta.

TOM SCOTT, formerly a senior tax partner at KPMG L.L.P., joined McDermott Will & Emery as the new head of the firm's London tax practice group.

BIZUNESH "BIZ" SCOTT joined Steptoe & Johnson as a partner in Washington, D.C. She was most recently special assistant to President Barack Obama for presidential personnel, and, before that, chief counsel for the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration. And rejoining Steptoe, as a partner in D.C., is JIM BARNETTE, former GC for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce.

Foley & Lardner announced that ANDREW BALUCH, former director of international IP enforcement for the White House's Office of the IP Enforcement Coordinator, is now special counsel in the D.C. office.

DAVID NESLIN joined the Denver office of Davis Graham & Stubbs. He was previously the director of the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.
