A Philadelphia judge has ordered Wal-Mart to pay $45.7 million in plaintiffs' attorney fees, $3.6 million in plaintiff expenses and $10 million in prejudgment interest as a result of a class action brought against it by its Pennsylvania employees. Those numbers are in addition to a jury verdict of $78.7 million and statutory liquidated damages of $62 million awarded because a Philadelphia jury found Wal-Mart did not compensate its Pennsylvania employees for off-the-clock work and missed rest breaks.
