Who Has the Best Legal Department?

Corporate Counsel

April 19, 2006

Corporate Counsel has held its first ever Best Legal Department contest, and now it's time to announce the winner from among the Fortune 500 companies surveyed by the magazine. The four top legal departments shared a penchant for hands-on lawyering, and each excelled in its own way, whether through diversity, pro bono programs or deft management of outside counsel. But in the end, the winner was a unanimous choice with impressive practice groups and a reputation for teamwork.
