Judge Certifies Class Suing Costco for Gender Bias

A federal judge has certified a class of approximately 700 female Costco employees who say the discount retail giant passed them over for promotions because of their gender. Lawyers say it is the first class of women alleging gender discrimination since the U.S. Supreme Court's blockbuster ruling in Wal-Mart v. Dukes.
