DIOGENES BERMUDEZ has joined Hogan Lovells as counsel in Caracas. He arrives from Petrobras Venezuela, where he was GC.

Frost Brown Todd announced that BOB HUST, former GC of Honda of America Mfg. Inc., is now with the firm in its Cincinnati office.

RAYMOND HOLST, previously executive director in the tax counsel group at Morgan Stanley, is now counsel with Latham & Watkins in New York.

Day Pitney hired MICHAEL HORNSTEIN as a partner in Washington, D.C. He had been the GC of Trans Bay Cable.

Debevoise & Plimpton announced that LEE SCHNEI­DER, former GC at ConvergEx Group, joined the firm's New York office as counsel.

JAMES KIPLING, previously the chief legal officer for the Kenner division of Hasbro Inc., is now a partner in the Cincinnati office of ­Dinsmore & Shohl.

Steptoe & Johnson hired HARVEY GELLER, former deputy GC and SVP of Universal Music Group, as of counsel in the firm's Century City, California, office.

Nelson Mullins added PAM ULLMAN, former vice president and assistant secretary for global litigation at Aventis Pharmaceuticals Inc., to its Charleston, South Carolina, office as of counsel.

JAMES GONIEA is now a partner in the Philadelphia office of Wiggin and Dana. Prior to that he was the VP and GC of American Drive­line Systems Inc.

Arnold & Porter hired DIANE BIERI, former executive vice president and GC of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, as a partner in D.C.

WADE SAVOY joined Rimon as a partner in New Orleans after serving as assistant GC for intellectual property at Wal-Mart Stores Inc.

SNR Denton announced that ANDY ROTH, former chief privacy officer at American Express Company, joined the firm as a partner in New York.

MARTY BREGMAN joined Stinson Morrison Hecker as a partner in the Kansas City, Missouri, office. He had been executive director of law at Westar Energy Inc.

Barnes & Thornburg hired GEORGIA SCHLEY RITCHIE, former GC of Workout Partners LLC, as of counsel in Atlanta.

MARSHALL CUSTER, who had been the GC of digital music service Grooveshark, is now an associate with Denver firm Messner & Reeves.

Hunton & Williams hired JOHN TORMEY, senior counsel with Constellation Energy Group, as counsel in D.C.

Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott announced that LAURENCE RICKLES, former in-house trademark counsel at Johnson & Johnson, joined the firm as a partner in White Plains, New York.
