In the September issue of Corporate Counsel magazine, reporter Shannon Green wrote a story about a young German computer science student who rubbed Google the wrong way. He created a website that allows users to strip audio from YouTube videos and convert it into MP3 files—and Google was not amused. An in-house lawyer fired off a cease and desist letter, which the young man promptly ignored.

In this month’s Corporate Counsel Spotlight, Green talks about the story with executive editor David Hechler. Read the full story here.
