Financial services firm Morgan Stanley has named Eric Grossman its next chief legal officer. Grossman, 44, replaces Frank Barron, 60, whose retirement was announced in an internal memo [PDF] obtained by CorpCounsel.com on Monday.
Grossman joined Morgan Stanley, the sixth largest U.S. bank, in 2006 as global head of litigation. Most recently, he served as global head of legal. In that role, he managed all of the firm’s worldwide advisory law and litigation functions.
