Alternative billing isn’t just for outside counsel anymore. There’s now an alternative fee program for alternative dispute resolution. The CPR Institute has announced a new flat-fee mediation program launching July 1 for disputes of $250,000 or less.

“Through this new program, companies can gain access to CPR’s renowned panel of neutrals at significantly lower rates than those professionals generally charge,” says Noah Hanft, CPR president and CEO, in a statement. He notes the program allows the parties to have a clear view of the costs up front, before engaging in the ADR process.
