Baker McKenzie saw revenue climb to a record high of $2.67 billion in 2016-17, nudging up just over 2 percent on last year’s results, with average profits per equity partner (PPP) creeping up marginally to $1.3 million.

Billable hours increased by 3 percent, as the firm said that on a constant currency basis its revenue climbed 5 percent, highlighting the appreciation of the dollar against many currencies. On the same constant currency basis, PPP edged up 1.2 percent compared with 0.2 percent in dollar terms.
