Singapore’s KhattarWong has hired a new criminal defense partner.
Shashi Nathan was most recently director and head of the criminal litigation practice at 11-lawyer Inca Law. He actually began his career at KhattarWong, which he joined as an associate in 1992 and where he worked for seven years.
Nathan advises both individuals and institutions on matters including corruption, insider trading and tax fraud. He is also experienced in defending sexual offences, drug trafficking, and murder cases.
After leaving KhattarWong in 1999, Nathan spent over a decade at Harry Elias, where he became head of the firm’s criminal litigation practice. He joined Inca Law in 2010.
KhattarWong has around 80 lawyers in total.
