Morrison & Foerster partner Charles Chau has defected to Jones Day in Hong Kong.
Chau represents Chinese companies on Hong Kong securities offers and outbound investments. In 2015, he led the team representing state-owned train maker China CNR Corp., which he had helped list in Hong Kong the previous year in a $1.5 billion initial public offering, on a $26 billion merger with peer CSR Corp. Ltd.
