Baker McKenzie has hired former Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft Beijing partner Rose Zhu.
A corporate lawyer, Zhu represents cross-border transactions involving Chinese companies, especially state-owned enterprises. In 2015, she led a team at Cadwalader representing UBS AG and HSBC Bank plc as underwriters to Sinochem Offshore Capital Co. Ltd. on a $200 million Swiss franc-denominated bond, the first of its kind by a Chinese issuer.
