Sidley Austin has hired a new projects partner in Singapore.
David Gartside joins from White & Case where he was a local partner based in the city-state. Gartside advises projects sponsors, developers, lenders and export credit agencies on energy and infrastructure projects in Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. Last year, he led the team representing Singapore’s PacificLight Power Pte. Ltd. on getting $750 million refinancing facilities from a consortium of international lenders to build a liquefied-natural-gas-fueled power plant on Jurong Island.
