Withers has hired a corporate partner in Hong Kong.
Matthew Egerton-Warburton joins the British private client boutique from King & Wood Mallesons, where he was a counsel.*
Egerton-Warburton handles mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. He joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2012 from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, where he had been an associate in Hong Kong and New York. He also previously worked for Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in New York and the firm now known as Allens in Sydney.
Withers has 29 lawyers, including seven partners, in Hong Kong. The firm has about 375 lawyers in 11 offices worldwide.
